APARTMENT CANNAREGIO
JULY 2025

In Cannaregio, we had the opportunity to oversee the renovation of an important floor of a historic palazzo, where our intervention was decisive in profoundly renewing the interiors, which have taken on a fresh and refined character.

We selected prestigious finishes, including a Venetian terrazzo floor with elegant shades of Carrara marble, capable of reflecting light like a sheet of water and creating an almost liquid visual effect. The entire lighting system was redesigned to highlight the original wooden beams and transform the entrance into a gallery-like corridor.

The heart of the house is a living room with arched windows, where — by preserving the historical essence of the space and enhancing its natural light and volumes — we created an environment that the owners completed with iconic pieces of 1980s Italian design: from the radical forms of Ettore Sottsass and the Memphis Milano movement to the Djinn collection by Olivier Mourgue, made famous by the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, all in perfect harmony with artworks created by the owners themselves. From this space, one accesses the ultramodern stainless steel kitchen, which interacts with the historical features of the building and creates a dialogue between past and present.

The layout also includes three spacious bedrooms, one of which is a master suite with en suite bathroom and a large private terrace.
